going mac

I've decided to change teams. To turn the coat. After about 20 years of PC use, I'm moving to the macintosh. I'm tired of all the bullshit and crap that goes into having a windows laptop.

The other relevant thing about this, is that this blog is gonna end. I'm gonna have a .mac web presence (with this same address), where I can have a much easier time writing my opinions and my goings on. It'll take a few weeks tho.

Till then, I remain,
a pc.

what can I do? what can I do?

I don't know what to do in here anymore…

esse site meio que perdeu o sentido.

Do I write in portuguese?

ou deixo em ingles?

in any way, it's become a pain to manage

cheio de regrinhas e coisinhas…. tou afim de recomeçar

but still,

ainda nao sei o que fazer com esse espaço….

What I'll probably do is,

vou dividir em 2:

One part in english, geared towards my American readers (none so far)

e uma parte em portugues, pra ficar no lugar do email que tenho mandado c as novidades…

sei la…

for now, I'm still thinking about it.

de resto.. nada…

Ashton in BobbyI'm at a friend's house, having just watched Bobby. It's amazing how a movie set in 1968 can be such a period piece now. By coincidence, this morning I saw Easy Rider, that came out in 69. It was interesting to see how a recreated late 60's can be so artificial when compared to the real thing. Maybe that's why I could not buy Ashton Kutcher's hippie, I don't know. It would have taken a lot more effort from the director to make his 60's recreation feel more authentic, but it would have been worth it.

Film Student

And so it came to pass, that on the twelfth day of the sixth month of the seventh year of the third millenium of the current era, at around 9-ish local time, while stars exploded and planets were being made, while babies were born and women's hands were being asked in marriage, while people laughed and people cried, and people sang and people shouted, while some worked, some played, and some were gently dreaming their sweetest dreams, I was given the answer I was waiting for this entire year. I was admitted as a Film Production student at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. One of, if not the best film school in the US today.

So that's it. Now, all that is left, is everything.

The fun starts now….

Standing on one foot on the edge of tomorrow

I haven't posted here in a long time. I've been kind of unable to, kind of blocked, waiting for the outcome of my college applications.

And now, here I stand in mid-step, on the edge of tomorrow, waiting for the inevitable conclusion of the first part of this journey. By tomorrow I expect to find out where to land my other foot. By tomorrow I'll have Chapman's decision, and I wanted to record this moment, the moment before the knowledge of my fate.
